The experience
The speedboat cuts travel time compared to larger vessels and delivers you straight to the beaches without a transfer to a smaller boat once you arrive. You start at Koh Maekoh, where you snorkel and swim, then paddle a kayak into Talay Nai, the Emerald Lake, an island lake enclosed by limestone mountains. A viewpoint overlooks the whole scene. Lunch is a Thai buffet served on the island, with halal and vegan options available if you request them in advance.
The second stop is Koh Wua Talap, where the day splits: hike up the mountain to reach six viewpoints with panoramic views of the archipelago, or stay at sea level and kayak along the coastline. The hike demands reasonable physical fitness, and you'll want sturdy shoes. Weather doesn't stop the tour as long as conditions stay safe for the activities themselves.
Pickup happens from hotels in Koh Phangan except the Thong Nai Pan area, which requires a separate transfer arrangement. Drinking water, soft drinks, a light breakfast of coffee, tea and biscuits, and snorkeling equipment are included. Kayak availability depends on weather, so the operator may substitute another activity if conditions don't permit paddling.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (2 to 10 years).
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24h before the start.
What is the Emerald Lake and why is it the highlight?
Talay Nai, or Emerald Lake, sits on an island inside Ang Thong National Marine Park and is surrounded by limestone mountains that rise straight from the water. You kayak into it and see the mountains from the lake itself, then climb to a viewpoint for the full panorama. It's the most photographed spot in the park.
Do I have to hike to the viewpoints or can I skip it?
Hiking to the viewpoints is optional. At Koh Wua Talap you can choose to hike up the mountain to see the six viewpoints, or stay at the beach and kayak along the coastline instead. The hike needs moderate fitness and sturdy shoes, but the reward is a view across all 42 islands.
Is kayaking included or do I pay extra?
Kayaking is free and included in the tour. You use the kayak at Koh Maekoh to paddle into the Emerald Lake. Availability depends on weather conditions, so if the sea is too rough the operator will arrange another activity instead.
Which hotels get free pickup and which don't?
Free pickup covers hotels throughout Koh Phangan except the Thong Nai Pan area. If you're staying in Thong Nai Pan, Haad Than Sadet, or outside the free transfer zones, you'll arrange your own transport to the departure point or pay for a transfer separately at checkout.
How long is the whole day and what time does it start?
The tour runs 7 to 8 hours. The operator will confirm your exact pickup time and start time when you book, based on your hotel location.
