The day splits into two options: morning or afternoon, each running about five hours from hotel pickup through return. The morning session picks you up between 7 and 8 AM and has you at the sanctuary by 9, starting with an introduction and elephant welfare briefing before moving into the herbal workshop. The afternoon option leaves your hotel between 11 and 11:30 AM, so lunch comes first at the sanctuary, then the workshop and observation follow.
