Michamvi's mangroves are a maze of roots and narrow channels where the water stays flat and protected. You paddle a stable kayak (single or double) at your own pace, following the guide through the trees. Tours only go out at mid or high tide. When the tide allows an evening tour, you paddle into the sunset over the bay.

The kayak comes with a life jacket and a waterproof bag to keep your phone and camera dry. Beginners handle the boat easily. The water is calm and the guide stays close. At the end of the paddle you return to the restaurant, where each person gets a fresh coconut and some fruit.
