The experience

Your driver is waiting at arrivals 60 minutes after your flight lands. You hand over your voucher, walk to the car park, and sit in an air-conditioned vehicle heading toward Taipei while other passengers are still negotiating with taxi drivers or hunting for the shuttle bus. The transfer from Taoyuan Airport to Taipei takes the direct route: no detours, no confusion about which hotel you meant, no surge pricing at the curb. The driver has your flight number, your phone number, and your destination locked in before you even land.

The service runs around the clock, which matters if you arrive at 11 p.m. or 6 a.m. You get the driver's contact details 48 hours before your ride and the exact meeting point 24 hours before, so there's no guessing when you come through customs. Each passenger gets space for one standard suitcase (22 inches) and one small carry-on. If you're traveling with a group and have more luggage, the operator will assign multiple vehicles. Oversized items like golf clubs or surfboards need advance notice, but they'll tell you upfront if there's a problem instead of turning you away at the airport.

The price is fixed before you travel, which means no meter running, no negotiation, no surprise charge when traffic slows you down. Professional drivers know the routes around Taipei and handle the traffic while you rest after your flight. If you're bringing an infant or small child, specialized seats are available. Just mention it when you book, at least 24 hours ahead. Any changes to your pickup time or destination can be made the same way, as long as you give them a day's notice.
