After a 15–20 minute briefing from an experienced pilot or flight instructor, you fly for 60 minutes with guidance throughout. Up to two spectators can watch from inside the cockpit while you pilot.

The experience

You arrive, get a welcome with refreshments, and sit down with an experienced pilot or flight instructor for a briefing that covers the basics of flying the F/A-18. The briefing runs 15–20 minutes and does not count toward your flight time. Then you step into the simulator cockpit (built to the exact dimensions of the real aircraft), and take the controls. The 360-degree visibility lets you track your surroundings in every direction, and the VR environment system responds to your inputs in real time. An instructor stays with you throughout the 60-minute flight, guiding you through maneuvers and keeping you on track.

Up to two people can accompany you as spectators and watch from inside the cockpit while you fly. The whole experience, from welcome to landing, runs about 80 minutes. The simulator is wheelchair accessible, and all areas are designed to accommodate visitors of varying mobility. Public transportation options are available nearby if you're staying in the city without a car. The maximum weight limit is 100 kg.
