The experience
The day starts with a 3-hour drive from Geneva through Alpine valleys toward Interlaken, then a 45-minute cable car ascent to Schilthorn's summit. At 2,970 metres, you step out into a 360° panorama of more than 200 peaks, with the Eiger's dramatic north face, the snow-covered Mönch and the Jungfrau all visible on a clear day. The revolving Piz Gloria restaurant (the actual filming location for On Her Majesty's Secret Service) rotates slowly as you move through it, and the 007 Walk of Fame runs past photographs, signatures and handprints from the cast and crew.
On the descent, you stop at Birg, the intermediate cable car station, where two separate walks test your nerve. The Skyline Walk extends over the mountainside with a transparent glass section that drops your view straight down the rock face. The Thrill Walk clings to the cliff itself, threading through tunnels and across glass-floor sections with the Alpine landscape falling away beneath you. Neither is mandatory (you choose which one, or both, or neither), but both are included.
After the mountain, Interlaken gives you free time to walk Höhematte meadow, browse shops, grab Swiss chocolate or simply sit with a coffee and the mountains in view. The return to Geneva is a 3-hour drive with your driver-guide, who stays with you only during the transfers. All the mountain attractions you explore on your own schedule.

Is this one for you?The guide speaks English and delivers commentary during the transfers only. You explore Schilthorn and Birg independently, so the pace and the stops are yours to set. This works well if you want the mountain experience without a guide narrating every moment, or if you prefer to linger at the views and the Bond exhibition on your own schedule.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (4 to 12 years); Infant (under 4).
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What are the Eiger and Mönch, and why do they matter on this trip?
The Eiger and Mönch are two of the most recognisable peaks in the Swiss Alps, visible from Schilthorn on clear days. The Eiger is famous for its dramatic north face and rugged slopes. The Mönch stands between the Eiger and Jungfrau with a snow-covered summit and striking ridgelines. Together with the Jungfrau, they form the panorama you see from 2,970 metres.
Can I walk the Thrill Walk and the Skyline Walk, or do I have to choose one?
Both walks are included and you choose at Birg. The Skyline Walk is a viewing platform with a transparent glass section offering a view straight down. The Thrill Walk is a cliffside pathway with tunnels, glass-floor sections and obstacles. You can do both, one, or neither: the time and your nerve decide.
Will I see the Piz Gloria restaurant from On Her Majesty's Secret Service?
Yes. Piz Gloria is the revolving restaurant at Schilthorn's summit, the actual filming location for the James Bond film. It rotates slowly as you move through it, and the 007 Walk of Fame runs past cast and crew tributes nearby, with an interactive exhibition also on site.
How much time do I have to explore Interlaken?
After the mountain attractions and the descent, you have free time in Interlaken to explore at your own pace. You can walk Höhematte meadow, browse shops, grab a coffee or Swiss chocolate, or simply relax while looking at the mountains.
Does the driver-guide stay with me on the mountain?
No. Your driver-guide handles the transfers to and from Geneva and Interlaken, but does not accompany you to Schilthorn or Birg. You explore all the mountain attractions independently at your own pace.
What happens if the weather is bad and I can't see the peaks?
Mountain weather and visibility can change quickly, and clear views of the Alps cannot be guaranteed. Cable car operations are subject to weather conditions and operational decisions. If the cable cars are closed, alternative activities or a partial refund may be offered.
