Three hours takes you through Swiss vineyards and into the cellars where the wine actually lives. A professional guide walks you through the vines, explains the background of Swiss wine production (and why so little of it leaves the country), then moves into the tasting itself. You'll taste directly in the cellar, not in a tasting room somewhere else. The Rhine valley spreads out around you the whole time, and the guide speaks your language (English, Spanish, Italian, French or German).

Hotel pickup and drop-off are included if your hotel is within 5 km of the tour area. If it's farther, public transportation options run nearby. You travel by air-conditioned minivan, and mineral water is on board. Alcoholic drinks beyond the tasting are available to purchase. The tour runs year-round and suits all fitness levels, so couples, families and small groups all book the same experience. It stays private to your party.
