The Experience
Thirty minutes is enough to get out past the marina breakwater and into open water where you can turn the machine around and head toward Malvarrosa beach. The jet skis here are the newest in the area—130 and 160 hp models—and they respond immediately to the throttle. Life jackets are fitted before you leave, and you're free to ride the coastline, cut across the bay, or anchor in the shallows and jump in to swim. The whole thing moves at your pace: you control the speed and the route, and there's no guide narrating the ride.
The marina sits at Marina Sur, next to the chiringuito El Faro del Sur, which is easy to find by name if you're arriving by taxi or Uber. When you enter the marina gates, grab a free parking ticket that gives you 20 minutes to come and go—enough time to walk to the office and get suited up.
