Thirty minutes on the water, no experience required

Jet ski rental in Valencia's Marina Sur puts you on a 130 or 160 hp machine for 30 minutes with life jacket and the option to ride out to Malvarrosa beach and swim. Book ahead by phone to confirm your time slot, since the operator coordinates departures by appointment. Maximum two riders per jet ski, combined weight up to 200 kg.

The Experience

Thirty minutes is enough to get out past the marina breakwater and into open water where you can turn the machine around and head toward Malvarrosa beach. The jet skis here are the newest in the area—130 and 160 hp models—and they respond immediately to the throttle. Life jackets are fitted before you leave, and you're free to ride the coastline, cut across the bay, or anchor in the shallows and jump in to swim. The whole thing moves at your pace: you control the speed and the route, and there's no guide narrating the ride.

The marina sits at Marina Sur, next to the chiringuito El Faro del Sur, which is easy to find by name if you're arriving by taxi or Uber. When you enter the marina gates, grab a free parking ticket that gives you 20 minutes to come and go—enough time to walk to the office and get suited up. Contact the operator at 610.211.998 or 673.867.048 after you book to lock in your departure time; without that call, you risk arriving to find them out on the water with another group.

What’s included

  • Jet ski rental for 30 minutes.
  • life jacket.
  • choice of 130 or 160 hp machine.

Operated by Rent Yacht World

Is this one for you?Book this one if you want to ride solo or with one other person and set your own route—the 30-minute window is short enough to fit into a day in the city, and the newest machines here give you the power to cover real distance without a guide or a group.

Top questions

Can I ride a jet ski if I've never done it before?

Yes. The jet skis are straightforward to operate—throttle, steering, and brake—and the operator fits your life jacket and walks you through the basics before you leave the marina. Thirty minutes gives you time to get comfortable with the machine in the calm water near the dock before heading out.

What's the ride out to Malvarrosa beach like?

Malvarrosa is a short run from Marina Sur, and you can reach it in the 30-minute window. The water between the marina and the beach is open bay, so you'll feel the jet ski's power; once you're there, you can slow down, swim, and ride back at your own speed.

What happens if I arrive late or the weather is bad?

Call ahead to confirm your time slot—the operator schedules departures by appointment, so showing up without that call means you might have to wait or reschedule. Bad weather or rough seas may affect whether the operator can take you out; that's something to discuss when you call to book your slot.

Is there a weight limit?

Yes. Two riders maximum per jet ski, and the combined weight cannot exceed 200 kg (about 440 lbs). If you're booking for two people, make sure your combined weight stays under that limit.

Where do I park and how do I find the office?

Park in Marina Sur and grab a free ticket at the gate—it covers 20 minutes of parking. The office is next to El Faro del Sur chiringuito, which you can search by name to pinpoint it. If you're taking a taxi or Uber, tell the driver you need Marina Sur and mention the chiringuito as a landmark.
