The experience
The coach collects you from your hotel in Albir, Benidorm, Altea or Calpe and heads toward Valencia: a two-hour journey on an air-conditioned vehicle. Once you arrive, you're dropped at Torres de Serranos, the gateway to the historic quarter, a short walk from the cathedral and the main city centre. From there, the five hours are yours to spend as you choose: walk the old streets, sit in a plaza, grab lunch, or move at whatever pace suits you that day.
If you want structure within those hours, three options are bookable on arrival. You can join a sightseeing tour of the city, visit Mestalla Stadium (the home of Valencia CF), or spend time at Oceanografic, the sea-life centre. None of these are locked in ahead of time. You decide when you get there, depending on what you feel like doing and how much daylight is left. The representative travelling with the group can help you sort out the logistics and confirm what's available.
The return follows the same route in reverse, with drop-offs at each pickup point in the order they were collected. Services from Calpe and Altea run from June through November only. Albir and Benidorm operate year-round. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, and casual smart dress is expected: a top covering the torso and shorts as a minimum.

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English and Spanish.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Youth (4 to 12 years); Child (2 to 3 years); Infant (under 2): free.
How much time do I actually get to spend in Valencia?
Five hours of free time in the historic centre, starting from your drop-off at Torres de Serranos. The two-hour journey each way is separate from that.
Can I book Mestalla Stadium or Oceanografic in advance, or do I have to decide on the day?
Both are bookable on arrival, not beforehand. The representative with your group can help you arrange entry when you get there, depending on opening hours and what you want to fit into your five hours.
Which pickup point should I choose?
Select the hotel or location closest to where you're staying: Albir Playa hotel, Cap Negret or Bar Granada in Altea, Suitopia or Mercadona in Calpe, or one of three Benidorm hotels (Sol Pelicanos, Gran Hotel Bali, or Poseidon Playa). Calpe and Altea pickups only run June to November.
Is there wheelchair access in Valencia's historic centre?
The coach is wheelchair accessible and all areas at the drop-off point are wheelchair accessible. Manual collapsible wheelchairs can be stored in the luggage hold, though the driver cannot assist with boarding or disembarking due to insurance regulations.
