Snorkeling in Ibiza: Private boat charter with SUP boards
A traditional Balearic boat built for the water, not just a ride across it.
A private half-day snorkeling charter in Ibiza aboard Aruna, a restored traditional Balearic yacht with captain Jaime and deckhand Krysia. You choose between the scenic west coast or the hidden coves of the north depending on conditions, stopping at reefs and islets to snorkel and paddle. Two SUP boards, snorkeling equipment, cava, beers and refreshments are included. The boat has a large bathing platform, sunbathing deck and bathroom.
The experience
You arrive at the boat and step aboard Aruna, a one-of-a-kind vessel that has been lovingly refurbished to work the Mediterranean. The captain and deckhand know the island's coastline intimately and will plot the day's route based on what the sea offers: either the dramatic west coast or the quieter northern coves where few boats go. The boat carries two new SUP boards, full snorkeling gear, and a fridge stocked with cava, beers and water, so you're equipped to move between the water and the deck without leaving anything behind.
The stops themselves are chosen for what lies beneath and around them: magical coves where you can snorkel, islets to explore, and reefs where the fish congregate. You control when you enter the water and how long you stay. The crew handles navigation and safety. The bathing platform makes entry and exit simple, and the spacious sunbathing deck gives you room to dry off and rest between swims. If you want to bring your own food, you can. The crew can also arrange a restaurant reservation for the day if you prefer.
Four hours is long enough to reach the best spots without rushing, but short enough to fit a half-day into a busier itinerary. Captain, deckhand and fuel are all included in the price, so there are no hidden costs once you book.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What's the difference between the west coast and north coast routes?
The west coast route follows the scenic, dramatic shoreline. The north coast route reaches hidden coves and islets with fewer boats. Jaime chooses which one based on sea conditions the day you go, so you get the best snorkeling and paddling conditions available.
Do I need snorkeling experience to join?
No. The crew provides all snorkeling equipment and will brief you on how to use it. The charter suits all fitness levels, and you decide how much time you spend in the water.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes. You're welcome to bring your own food. The boat includes cava, beers, water and refreshments. If you'd prefer a restaurant meal, Jaime and Krysia can arrange a reservation for you.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The route is chosen based on sea conditions on the day, so Jaime will pick whichever option offers the safest and best experience. If conditions are unsafe, the charter can be rescheduled.
Is there a bathroom on the boat?
Yes. Aruna has a full bathroom on board, along with a large bathing platform and sunbathing deck.
