The experience

You book the yacht by the hour (a minimum of 3 hours, up to 8), and the captain plots the route around wherever you want to anchor. That means you pick the snorkeling spots instead of following a fixed itinerary, and you decide when to get in the water and when to stay on deck. The boat holds up to 8 people, so a group of friends or a family books one vessel instead of splitting across multiple tour boats. The crew handles the navigation. You handle the music, choosing your own playlist to play while you're anchored.

Snorkeling gear sits onboard ready to use, and two stand-up paddle boards come with the charter. The open bar stocks beer, sangria, water and Coca-Cola, and tapas arrive throughout the day. If someone wants to try jet ski, parasailing or the sea scooter pro, the crew can arrange those at a discount. You settle the cost when you book. The yacht is a 40-foot Model Astondoa 40' open, which means the sun deck is large and unshaded, so bring or pack sun protection.

Pickup is included, and the crew speaks English, Spanish, German, Croatian and one additional language. The rate is 165 euros per hour, so a 3-hour charter runs 495 euros for the whole boat, not per person. If you want to stay out longer than 8 hours, check with the operator first.
