The experience

Your driver picks you up from Cádiz port or your hotel and drives you to Seville. Once you arrive, a professional guide meets you to lead the tour through the city's main monuments and neighbourhoods. The guide walks you through Santa Cruz, the former Jewish Quarter with its narrow streets and shops, then to the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See: a Gothic structure so large it holds the title of the world's biggest Gothic cathedral. You see it from the outside, along with La Giralda, the bell tower that rises from the cathedral's corner. The tour also takes you to the Royal Alcázar, a walled palace complex built over centuries with traces of Islamic, Mudéjar and Gothic styles, and to the Plaza de España, an architectural ensemble built for the 1929 Iberoamerican Exposition and set within María Luisa Park.

The Torre del Oro stands on the left bank of the Guadalquivir River: a 36-metre watchtower built in 1221 that you view from outside. You also pass the Metropol Parasol, a modern wood and concrete pergola structure in the Plaza de la Encarnación, and spend time in María Luisa Park itself, Seville's first urban park and one of its main green spaces. The driver speaks basic English and returns you to Cádiz port or your hotel when the tour ends. Transport by private vehicle and the guide's four hours in the city are included. Entrance fees to the Cathedral, Alcázar and Metropol Parasol are separate.
