You arrive at the launch site in time to watch the balloon crew prepare: the envelope unfolds, the burner fires, and the basket rises from the ground. After a safety briefing, you step into the basket with up to 23 other passengers and the pilot, and the balloon lifts into the air. The ascent is gradual and silent. Within minutes, Segovia spreads below you in a way no street-level view can match.
