Private Ibiza Cove Boat Tour: Hidden Coves by Traditional Llaüt
Swim and snorkel at three hidden coves without fighting the crowds
A private four-hour boat tour of Ibiza's west coast aboard a restored traditional llaüt, the typical wooden sailing boat of the Balearic Islands. You stop at three coves (Cala Bassa, Cala Roja and Cala Conta) to swim, snorkel or paddle board in clear water away from the main beaches. The boat carries snorkel goggles, floats, a paddle board and a cooler with bottled water. A guide speaks English or Spanish and moves at the rhythm of the sea rather than a fixed schedule.

The experience
If you have a free afternoon and want to see Ibiza beyond the resort beaches, this boat does the work of finding the right coves. The llaüt is a wooden sailing boat restored for comfort. It has a large adjustable awning, a table for eating on board, and enough space to store bags safely. The operator has run this tour for over 15 years and knows which spots stay quiet even in summer.
The four-hour route follows the west coast, with stops at Cala Bassa, Cala Roja and Cala Conta. At each one you can swim, use the snorkel gear provided, or float on the paddle board if you want to stay on the water without diving in. The boat carries a cooler with bottled water and a Bluetooth speaker, so you can play music while anchored. There's no fixed itinerary: the guide adjusts the stops and timing based on conditions and what you want to do.
The guide speaks English or Spanish and travels with you the whole time. Infants can come along (they sit on an adult's lap), and the boat is suitable for all fitness levels, though it's not recommended for people with spinal injuries. Pickup and meeting details will be confirmed when you book.

What are the three coves we stop at on this tour?
Cala Bassa, Cala Roja and Cala Conta are the main stops, each one chosen for clear water and a quieter atmosphere than the main beaches. You can swim, snorkel or paddle board at any of them depending on what you want to do that day.
Is snorkel gear included, or do I need to bring my own?

How does the four-hour timing work? Is it a fixed schedule?
