Two hours at full throttle, then an hour in the water with gear and toys.

A 2-hour speedboat tour departing from Puerto Club de Mar takes you past Mallorca's cathedral, along the west coast to famous coves, and stops for a full hour of swimming and snorkeling with equipment provided. The boat carries snorkeling gear, paddle boards, sea jets and swim floats; a live guide speaks English, Spanish, Italian, French and one additional language, and children are welcome from age 7.

The Experience

The speedboat leaves Puerto Club de Mar and runs the west coast at speed, passing the cathedral for a photo stop before hitting the coves where the water clears. You get a full hour in the water at the most popular snorkeling site—not a quick dip, but real time to move around underwater. The operator provides snorkeling equipment, so you don't bring your own or rent it separately.

While you're in the water, the toys stay on deck. When you climb back aboard, you can try the sea jets (small motorized boards), paddle surf boards and swim floats—the kind of thing that turns a boat ride into play. The captain runs music the whole way and hands out free drinks, so the ride back is as much about the atmosphere as the speed.

The whole outing is 2 hours door to door, which means the hour in the water is the centerpiece and the coast run bookends it. A live guide narrates in your language—English, Spanish, Italian, French or one more—so you're not guessing what you're looking at. Children from age 7 can join; the operator notes the tour isn't suitable for spinal injuries, pregnancy or poor cardiovascular health, so check your own situation before booking.

Top questions

What exactly do I get to do in the water during the snorkeling stop?

You have a full hour at the most famous cove on the west coast with snorkeling equipment provided. You can swim, explore underwater, and use the floating toys—paddle boards, sea jets and swim floats—that stay on the boat while you're diving.

Is snorkeling equipment really included, or do I need to bring my own?

Snorkeling equipment is included in the tour price. The boat carries it for all passengers, so you don't need to rent or pack your own.

What's the cathedral stop like—do we get off the boat?

The speedboat slows at the cathedral so you can photograph it from the water. It's a photo moment, not a landing or a walking tour of the building itself.

How long is the actual ride, and how much time is spent speeding versus anchored?

The whole tour is 2 hours. You spend roughly an hour running the coast at speed, then anchor for a full hour of swimming and snorkeling in the cove, then speed back to the marina.

Can my 7-year-old come on this tour?

Children are welcome from age 7. The tour includes water toys and snorkeling, so check that your child is comfortable in the water and can handle the boat's speed before booking.
