Three hours: sunrise over the sea, dolphins in freedom, a swim in a cove

A 3-hour dolphin-watching boat excursion in Mallorca where you sail to observe dolphins in their natural environment, then swim in a coastal cove. Three departure times let you choose sunrise, mid-morning or afternoon; life jacket and insurance are included. The boat stays at a respectful distance, prioritizing the animals' wellbeing over spectacle.

The Experience

The boat leaves S'Arenal at one of three times—the first departure catches the sunrise, when the light is still low and the sea is quietest. You'll sail to the area where dolphins live, watching them move through the water on their own terms. The crew keeps the boat at a distance that lets you observe without disturbing them, so the encounter stays genuine rather than staged.

After the dolphins, the route turns back toward the coast and stops at a cove where you can swim. The water is clear and the cove is small enough to feel removed from the main beaches. You'll have time to cool off before heading back to shore. Life jacket and insurance come with the booking, so there's nothing else to arrange on the water.

The three departure slots mean you can fit this around the rest of your day—sunrise if you want the light and the calm, or a later slot if an early start doesn't suit your plans. The whole outing runs three hours from start to finish.

What’s included

  • Life jacket and insurance.
  • choice of three departure times.
  • boat transport to the dolphin-watching area.

Operated by Life & Sea

Is this one for you?Choose the sunrise departure if you want the sea at its calmest and the light at its softest—that's when dolphins are most active and the water is quietest. The later slots work just as well if you prefer to sleep in; the dolphins are there regardless of the hour.
