The Experience
The boat leaves the jetty at Playa Tora de Paguera at 10am sharp, so arrive 15 minutes early to find parking. The first 45 minutes is a leisurely sail along the southwest coast, passing through the bays of Santa Ponsa, Paguera and Cala Fornells as you head toward your first swimming stop. The crew points out the landscape, and if you're not in the mood to swim, the onboard bar stays open.
At Cala d'Egos, you drop anchor in clear water for a swim. Snorkel masks are on board if you want to look below the surface; if you'd rather stay dry, a drink from the bar works just as well. After this stop, the boat continues for about 15 minutes along the Andritxola coast until you reach the Port of Andratx. You get 40 minutes on land to walk the port—one of Mallorca's most exclusive marinas—and explore the waterfront at your own pace. The crew tells you when to return.
Once everyone is back on board, lunch is served as the catamaran sails toward Camp de Mar, a journey of roughly 35 minutes. Your second swim stop happens in this bay, where the water is calm and clean. The return to Paguera takes another 45 minutes, passing back through Santa Ponsa and the bays you saw at the start. If weather turns rough, the captain may alter the route to find calmer water.
