Malaga city game: Operation Mindfall iPad augmented reality

Solve riddles across Malaga's streets and stop a global threat

Operation Mindfall is a 2-hour interactive city exploration game in Malaga where you navigate the streets with an iPad, use augmented reality to uncover clues, and solve puzzles to find an antidote to a fictional 1950s poison. You receive an iPad and an Action Pack with gadgets. The game works for groups and families, and all areas are wheelchair accessible.

The experience

You've got a free afternoon in Malaga and want something more than a walking tour. Operation Mindfall puts you in the role of an agent on a mission: a secret organization developed a dangerous poison in the 1950s, and you have 120 minutes to find the antidote and stop the threat. The game unfolds across the actual streets of the city, so you're moving through real neighborhoods and landmarks while the iPad feeds you the story, the map, and the challenges that unlock each next step.

The iPad and augmented reality are what make this different from a standard city walk. You'll follow the map on screen, but the AR layer shows you things in the streets around you: clues hidden in plain sight, visual puzzles that only appear through the device. You solve riddles, answer questions, and use the gadgets in your Action Pack to progress. The game is built for groups, not solo players. The riddles and tasks are designed so you have to work together, talk things through, and help each other stay on track. Families with children, groups of friends, and teams all work here because the challenge scales with how many brains you bring.

You'll need to move at a steady pace for two hours: the game covers ground, and the clock is part of the pressure. Stick together, stay creative, and keep your eyes on both the screen and the streets. The mission is perilous in the story. In practice, it's a puzzle hunt that keeps you moving and thinking the whole time.
