You choose your showtime (6pm, 7pm, 8:30pm or 9:30pm) and whether you want tapas, a full dinner, or just a drink alongside the performance. The theater assigns your seat. The experience

You arrive at Las Tablas on Plaza España and sit down to watch flamenco performed by high-caliber artists: the venue partners with El Círculo Flamenco de Madrid, a nonprofit that brings some of the city's best performers to the stage. The show runs about an hour, with the intensity of the dance, the sound of the guitar and the clapping hands driving the rhythm. Unlike smaller venues, Las Tablas has professional staging and technical resources that let the performers work at full capacity.

Food and drinks come with your ticket depending on which option you book. The Show + Tapas Menu options (available at 6pm or 8:30pm) include a selection of small plates. The Show + Dinner options (6pm or 8:30pm) are a full meal. If you prefer just a drink, the Show + Drink slots run at 7pm or 9:30pm. All options include an alcoholic beverage. Vegetarian versions of the tapas and dinner are available. Let the venue know when you book if you need one. The theater assigns your seat in advance of the performance date, so you won't know your exact spot until closer to the night.

The venue is centrally located and reachable by public transport. Children can attend if accompanied by an adult, and the minimum drinking age is 18. If you want a recording of the show, DVDs are available to purchase on the night.
