Most of Ibiza's best coastline sits beyond the roads tourists know.

A private Jeep Wrangler tour of Ibiza's western coast with a guide who builds the itinerary around your preferences—you pick which beaches, caves, snorkeling spots and viewpoints to visit, and how long to stay at each. The tour runs 4 to 5 hours and includes drinks, state-of-the-art snorkeling masks, and swimming in coves most visitors never find. Groups of up to 4 travel in one Jeep; larger groups use two vehicles, with one driven by a participant.

Step-by-step itinerary

Jeep tour exploring Ibiza's secret spots

  • Start Jeep Wrangler tour around Ibiza
  • Visit hidden fishermen's bay at Sa Caleta
  • Swim and snorkel in crystal clear waters
  • Explore Cala Conta beaches and secret cave
  • Stop at mojito beach bar known by locals
  • See Ibiza Stone Henge sculpture
  • Visit legendary Festival Club for photos
  • Enjoy viewpoint of Es Vedrà rock island
  • Relax at secret fishing beach near Cala Tarida

The Experience

You arrive at a meeting point with a modern Jeep Wrangler and a guide who speaks English, Spanish or Italian. Before the engine starts, the guide lays out the route options—Sa Caleta's hidden fishermen's cove, Cala Conta's three beach areas and the cave behind them, the Time and Space sculpture rising from the rocky coast, the Es Vedra viewpoint, a secret beach tucked next to crowded Cala Tarida, the abandoned Festival Club. You decide which ones matter to you and how long to linger at each. The pace is yours; the flexibility is total.

The Jeep takes roads and tracks that bypass the main highways, opening access to places a regular car cannot reach. At Sa Caleta, you'll find the actual village—a working fishing settlement where locals still gather, not the tourist beach of the same name. Cala Conta reveals a gigantic sea cave and a small beach with a mojito bar that locals know but guidebooks don't list. The Time and Space installation, a basalt sculpture arranged to map the solar system with a gold-capped sun pillar, sits against the cliffs with views that photograph like nothing else on the island. At the Es Vedra viewpoint, the towering rock that defines Ibiza's silhouette rises from the water in front of you. Between stops, you swim in coves with water clear enough to snorkel—the tour includes modern snorkeling masks and drinks throughout the day.

For groups larger than four, a second Jeep joins the tour, driven by one of your party (a valid driving license, passport and credit card required; a 700 € security deposit applies per additional vehicle). Children ride free, and infants can sit on an adult's lap or in a specialized seat. The route adapts to the season and to what your group wants to see, so no two departures follow the same path.

Top questions

Can I choose which beaches and caves we visit, or is the route fixed?

The route is entirely flexible. Your guide presents options—Sa Caleta's fishing village, Cala Conta's cave and beaches, the Es Vedra viewpoint, the Time and Space sculpture, a secret beach near Cala Tarida, and the abandoned Festival Club—and you decide which ones to visit and how long to stay at each. The itinerary adjusts to your group's preferences and the time of year.

What's included in the tour price?

The Jeep Wrangler, a guide in English, Spanish or Italian, drinks throughout the day, state-of-the-art snorkeling masks, and swimming in secret coves are all included. You bring your own swimwear and sunscreen.

How many people can fit in one Jeep?

Up to four guests travel in a single Jeep Wrangler. Groups of five to nine people use two vehicles; the second Jeep is driven by one of your party members, who must have a valid driving license and passport. A 700 € security deposit per additional vehicle applies.

What is Sa Caleta, and why does the tour visit it?

Sa Caleta is a working fishing village tucked into a small enclosed bay beyond the tourist beach that carries the same name. It's a typical Ibizan coastal landscape where local fishermen still gather, and the water is clear enough for swimming and snorkeling—a place most visitors never see.

Is there a cave we can actually enter?

Yes. At Cala Conta, the tour visits a gigantic sea cave. The beach area there has three sections to explore, and a local mojito bar sits nearby—known mainly to residents, not tourists.

How long does the tour last?

The tour runs 4 to 5 hours. Since you control the pace and which stops matter, the exact length depends on your group's preferences and how long you want to spend at each location.
