The Experience
Walking into the spa, the first thing I noticed was the gentle scent of lemongrass and jasmine—honestly, it felt like a little slice of Thailand right in the heart of Barcelona. We were greeted with warm smiles and handed comfy flip flops and a soft towel. The room was cozy, dimly lit, and set up with two Thai stretchers side by side. I liked that we could each pick our own massage style and oil scent—my partner went for something deep and strong, while I chose a lighter touch with lavender oil. The masseuses, both from Thailand, chatted with us for a moment to check how much pressure we liked. It was clear they really knew their stuff.
After the massage, we slipped into the Jacuzzi already sprinkled with fresh flower petals. There was a glass of cava waiting for each of us on the side—nice touch. The water was just the right temperature, and I could hear a bit of soft music mixed with the faint sound of rain outside. We had half an hour to just relax, sip our drinks, and let everything sink in. When we finished, they offered tea, juice, or water. I went for the fruit juice—super refreshing. The whole thing felt personal and unhurried, perfect if you want to surprise someone or just need a break from city noise.
