The experience
The boat launches from pontoon F at the CMSAP Maritime Club in Can Pastilla, a working port where you'll meet the crew and get a quick walkthrough of the controls. The B550 Perseis is built to be intuitive, no sailing experience needed, so you can start navigating within minutes. You choose where to go: the rocky coves east of the city, the sea caves carved into the limestone cliffs, the quieter beaches on the bay's far side, or a mix of all three depending on the wind and how the day feels.
Four hours gives you time to reach the main attractions and linger at a couple of stops. Eight hours lets you venture farther and spend real time anchored in a cove if you find one you want to stay in. The boat handles the bay's conditions easily, and the rental includes insurance so you can focus on the water instead of the what-ifs. Fuel is separate (budget 20€ for a 4-hour outing or 30€ for the full day), and you'll need to leave a 500€ deposit that comes back when you return the boat clean.
Families with infants can bring a pram or specialized seat. Service animals are welcome. Public transport runs near the port if someone in your group needs to skip the water. The bay itself stays calm enough for all fitness levels, and the crew can point you toward the best spots for swimming, snorkeling or just drifting and watching the cliffs.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and French.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. No refund if you cancel.
Can I really operate the boat without any sailing experience?
Yes. The B550 Perseis is designed to be easy to handle even for first-time boat operators. The crew walks you through the basics at the start, and the boat responds predictably in Palma Bay's conditions.
What's actually included in the rental, and what costs extra?
The rental includes the boat, insurance with a franchise, and your choice of 4 or 8 hours on the water. Fuel costs 20€ for 4 hours or 30€ for 8 hours, and you'll leave a 500€ deposit that's returned when you bring the boat back.
Where exactly do I pick up the boat, and how do I get there?
Embarkation is at pontoon F of the CMSAP Maritime Club in Can Pastilla. Public transportation runs nearby if you're not driving, and the port is easy to find on the Palma waterfront.
What can I actually reach in 4 hours versus 8 hours?
Four hours covers the main coves, beaches and caves of Palma Bay with time to stop and swim at a couple of spots. Eight hours lets you explore farther along the coast and spend longer anchored in a cove if you find one you want to stay in.
Is a guide included, or do I navigate on my own?
You navigate on your own. A guide in English, Spanish or French is available if you want one, but the rental works just as well as a self-guided outing.
