Baeza stands out for its Renaissance architecture, and this tour moves through the city's most important civil and religious buildings without you having to plan the route or buy separate tickets. The guide explains the anecdotes and traditions tied to each site as you walk the main squares—the Plaza del Populo with its 16th-century Old Butchers building and Fountain of the Lions, then the Plaza Santa María, where the Cathedral and the High Town Halls face each other across the square. The Cathedral entrance, valued at 7.00 €, is already included, so you step inside to see the Corpus Christi Processional Custody, one of the greatest pieces of Spanish goldsmithing.

Along the way you'll see the International University of Andalusia headquarters, the 13th-century Church of Santa Cruz (the only late Romanesque building in Andalusia), and the original University of Baeza building where the poet Antonio Machado taught his classroom between 1912 and 1917—that room is preserved as it was. From a viewpoint on the route, you look out over the Guadalquivir river valley and the olive groves that blanket the province, with the Sierra de Cazorla and Sierra Mágina mountains rising beyond. The tour ends in the central Plaza del Mercado, where most of the city's restaurants and shops cluster.
