MBC K-Drama Studio Tour Seoul: Behind-the-Scenes Access
Step inside a live K-Drama set and see the magic unfold up close
A guided tour of Seoul's MBC Dream Center—Korea's largest indoor studio—where you walk through active filming sets for variety shows, dramas and news programs, led by industry insiders. The tour includes round-trip transport from central Seoul, admission to restricted studio areas, and access to the MBC Headquarters in Sangam-dong, where you can match handprints at Star Park and watch live radio broadcasts. You choose one of three experiences: the Official Studio Tour (Tuesday or Friday), the VIP Drama Rehearsal Visit (Monday or Wednesday), or the King of Mask Singer rehearsal (every other Tuesday). The tour runs 6 to 7 hours.

The Experience
The MBC Dream Center is not a museum—it is a working broadcast station, and the tour puts you inside it while cameras are rolling. You walk through the actual studios where popular variety shows and news programs film, guided by media professionals and professors who explain how the sets are lit, how scenes are directed, and how the technical crew pulls off live broadcasts. The energy is real because the work is real; schedules shift, crew members move between sets, and you see the organized chaos that outsiders never witness. This is the only official tour in Korea that grants access to these restricted areas.
Your choice of experience shapes the day. The Official Studio Tour (Tue/Fri) focuses on the sets and the technical side—how a variety show stage differs from a drama set, where the cameras sit, what happens in the control room. The VIP Drama Rehearsal Visit (Mon/Wed) lets you watch K-Drama actors rehearse live and see them up close, which is the only tour in Korea that offers this. The King of Mask Singer rehearsal (every other Tue) is a private taping with four performers from the global hit show; phones are collected for security during the rehearsal and returned when it ends. All three options include the same second half: transport to Sangam-dong, the MBC Headquarters complex. There you walk through Star Park to match your handprints with celebrities, step into the Visible Radio studio to watch live on-air broadcasts, and explore the grand MBC Hall. Lunch is on your own, giving you time to eat in the neighborhood.
Round-trip transport from central Seoul is included, and your guide speaks English, Chinese or Korean depending on which option you book. The tour runs 6 to 7 hours total. Children under 3 are not suitable for the Studio Tour; children under 6 are not suitable for the Drama Rehearsal. The itinerary adjusts for traffic and weather.
