The experience

You arrive at the meeting point already dressed in hanbok. The rental shops near Gyeongbokgung can take 30 to 60 minutes, so plan to rent at least an hour before your photoshoot time. Once you meet your photographer, you'll walk together to Gyeongbokgung Palace, where the actual shoot takes place. Before the camera starts, the photographer explains the flow of the experience and shows you pose examples on a tablet, walking you through how to stand, move, and express yourself naturally in front of the lens. This step-by-step guidance is designed so even first-time guests feel confident.

During your session inside the palace grounds, you'll create K-drama style scenes against the palace's iconic architecture. The photographer directs you through storytelling and movement rather than stiff, posed shots. The focus is on capturing elegant, cinematic moments that feel alive. You're working with a professional who knows how to use the palace's light and backdrop to make hanbok look its best, and the tablet guidance keeps you from second-guessing yourself or freezing up on camera.
