The experience
The hanbok rental works around choice. You walk in and browse more than 500 robes organized by style: basic hanboks in simple, elegant colors; theme hanboks that blend traditional cuts with modern trends and K-drama character designs; premium versions worn by kings and queens in historical television. You can try on up to two different hanboks during your 30-minute selection window, then wear the one you pick for the rental period you booked: anywhere from 90 minutes to a full day. Hair styling is included with every rental, and the shop itself is decorated with traditional hanok architecture, so the storefront becomes your backdrop for photographs.
Sizes run from 12 months old through XXL for both men and women, and you can add optional accessories on-site: traditional shoes, bags, daenggi (hair ribbons), gat (men's formal hats) and corsages, each priced separately. If you exceed your rental time, additional charges apply based on the hanbok tier you chose. The shop holds your personal belongings in a locker while you wear the hanbok, and you must return everything before closing if you book the full-day option. Bring an ID or passport to complete the rental.
