The experience
Ten to twelve hours gives you the full run of Everland's rides, shows and zoo without a rushed pace. The park operates year-round with different hours depending on the season and weather, so you pick your return time when you book: early return leaves the park at 4:30pm, 5:30pm or 6:00pm depending on closing time, while late return stays until the park shuts down at 7pm, 8pm, 9pm or 10pm. An air-conditioned coach or minivan picks you up from Myeongdong, DDP Station or Hongik University Station in Seoul and brings you back to the same spot.
The zoo alone spans 15,000 square meters and holds 2,000 animals across 201 species, separate from the rides and festivals scattered through the park. For thrill rides, the wooden roller coaster is the draw. It holds four records in Korea for speed, height, length and steepness. Families with young children find rides suited to every age, and the park runs seasonal festivals throughout the year. Infants can ride in a stroller, and small children sit on an adult's lap on attractions where that is allowed.
The guide speaks English, Korean or Chinese and travels with the group. Everland occasionally closes individual attractions for maintenance or in extreme weather like heavy rain or high winds, so check the official park website before your date. Through November 2026, the park is running a free Circus Show as part of its 50th anniversary celebration. If you want to attend, let the operator know at least two days ahead and your guide will confirm a seat on the morning of your visit, though availability is limited.
