The six-hour game drive is built around what you spot rather than a fixed itinerary. Your guide watches for antelope, elephants, birds and other wildlife as you traverse the park's diverse terrain: rolling hills, lush plains dotted with acacia trees, and the varied habitats that support such range. While encounters with all of the Big Five are not guaranteed, the guide's knowledge of the ecosystem, flora and fauna shapes what you notice and understand about the landscape you're moving through. You'll have time throughout the day to photograph the animals and scenery.
Lunch is provided during the drive, then you're returned to your hotel by late afternoon. The full outing runs between nine and twelve hours depending on wildlife activity and your pickup location.
