The experience

The day starts at Hong Island, where you swim in the emerald lagoon framed by limestone cliffs, accessible only at the right tide, and snorkel in turquoise water over coral and colorful fish. Snorkeling gear is provided. From there, you cruise to Phang Nga Bay to see Ko Tapu, the dramatic karst made famous by *The Man with the Golden Gun*, with time for photos and exploration of nearby caves and hidden lagoons.

After the boat ride through the bay's 360-degree coastal scenery, you stop at Panyi Floating Village, a traditional Muslim fishing community built entirely on stilts. You walk the narrow walkways, browse local markets, and eat an open buffet lunch at a restaurant in the village itself. The afternoon shifts to paddling: a guide takes you by canoe through Panak Island's sea caves, narrow passages, and mangrove forests, where you might spot birds, crabs and monkeys in the ecosystem. A swimming break at Naka Noi Island closes the day before the return to your hotel.

The tour runs seven and a half hours total. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, along with all national park fees, travel insurance, soft drinks during the speedboat section, seasonal fruits and Thai snacks. Children from age one are welcome. Infants can ride in a stroller or sit on an adult's lap.

Is this one for you?At seven and a half hours, this tour fills most of a day but leaves the early morning and evening free for other activities in Krabi. If you want to see both bays without splitting them across two separate bookings, the stacked itinerary makes it possible. If you prefer a slower pace at one location, a single-destination tour would give you more time to linger.
