The experience

The day starts with return transfer from Sun City Welcome Centre. You travel through the bush to reach the archery range, and the guide walks you through stance, grip, aim and release. The two-hour session gives you time to build confidence with the bow rather than rush through a handful of shots. All equipment (the recurve bow, arrows and targets) is provided.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes suited to an outdoor setting. The range is exposed to the elements. Children from age 5 can join, though a parent or guardian must sign the indemnity forms before departure. If you have a spinal injury or cardiovascular concerns, this is not the right fit.
