The experience

What makes this different from ground-level sightseeing is that you're airborne, not watching from below. You meet at Hostel pod Voglom, then drive to the takeoff site: either Vogel or Vogar, chosen by the day's weather. A certified pilot gives you a short safety briefing and walks through the launch procedure. After a few easy running steps, you lift off smoothly and fly above Lake Bohinj and the surrounding Julian Alps. The flight duration shifts with conditions: typically 10–15 minutes from Vogar, 20–30 minutes from Vogel. You land gently near the lake's edge.

The pilot is your guide through the air, not a commentary track. They speak English, German, Croatian or Serbian, and they prioritize a smooth, comfortable flight over speed or tricks. All equipment (harness, parachute, helmet) comes with you. Liability insurance is built in. If you add the GoPro option at checkout, you'll get photos and video of the flight itself, not just the memory.

What happens if the weather is bad?

The pilot chooses between two launch sites based on the day's conditions. If weather makes flying unsafe, the operator will reschedule your flight or offer a full refund.

Is the GoPro footage included, or do I have to pay extra?

GoPro photos and video are optional. You can book the tandem flight alone, or add the GoPro package at checkout if you want footage of your flight.
