Half-day stand-up paddleboarding activity on Lake Predil near Bovec, where you paddle your own RED board around a mountain lake with a professional guide, full safety equipment and a beach break included. The experience

The trip starts at the base in Bovec with a gear check and a brief paddling lesson before you head north by van to Lake Predil. Once there, you'll unpack the boards and begin on your knees in shallow water, getting a feel for the paddle and the board's balance. As you grow comfortable, you'll move to standing and paddle out around the lake at your own pace. The guide stays with you in the water, ready to help if you lose your footing or need a tip on technique.

Lake Predil sits in the mountains well away from crowds, ringed with beaches and fed by freshwater springs. You'll paddle for roughly two hours, stopping wherever catches your eye: a quiet cove, a rocky outcrop, a stretch of sand. Halfway through, you'll pull ashore for a break with fruit and potato chips to refuel. The whole outing runs about four hours from start to finish, including the van ride both ways and the time to set up and pack the boards.

Minors can join with a parent, paddling solo once they're ready or sharing a board if they prefer. Dogs travel on the boards too. The van is air-conditioned, and all safety gear (wetsuit, personal flotation device and water shoes) comes with the rental. This is a self-paced activity, not a race. The guide adjusts to your speed and comfort level throughout.
