Tandem paragliding over Golte or Logarska Valley in Slovenia, where you fly alongside Nejc, a pilot with 20 years of aerial experience. The flight lasts 90 minutes and includes hotel pickup, video of your flight, and a guide who speaks English or German. Children from age 6 are welcome.

The experience

You'll be picked up from your hotel and driven to the launch site on Golte mountain. Once there, Nejc handles the equipment and the flying. Your job is to step into the harness, run a few steps as the paraglider catches the wind, and then leave the ground. The Alps and the patchwork of valleys unfold beneath you as you drift on thermal currents. A tandem flight means you're harnessed directly to the pilot, so there's no separate equipment to manage. You simply experience the view and the sensation of weightlessness while he navigates the air.

The flight itself runs about 90 minutes, though the full outing (transport, gearing up, and the flight) takes longer. Nejc films the experience, so you'll have video to take home. He speaks English and German, and the whole setup is designed to work for anyone from age 6 upward, which means families with older children can do this together. The timing is deliberate: you're escaping the heat and crowds of the valleys below by taking to the sky.

Paragliding is suitable for all physical fitness levels. The only medical restrictions are pregnancy and serious cardiovascular conditions. You don't need strength or endurance. The pilot does all the work. A short run at takeoff is the only physical demand.

Can my 8-year-old come paragliding with me?

Yes. Children from age 6 are welcome on tandem flights. They'll be harnessed alongside you and the pilot, so it's a shared experience for the whole family.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day I'm booked?

Paragliding depends on wind and weather conditions. If conditions aren't safe on your scheduled day, you'll be offered a different date or a full refund. The operator will confirm the flight the morning of your booking.

Will I get to see the video of my flight?

Yes. Video is included in the package. Nejc films the flight from a camera mounted on the harness, capturing your perspective as you fly. You'll receive the footage after landing.
