The experience

The ride from Bled to Logar Valley takes around 90 minutes, covering the distance by vehicle before you mount up in the valley itself. Once there, you ride through the green meadows and pastoral terrain that make this glacial valley one of Europe's most intact Alpine landscapes. The tradition of farming and forestry has shaped the place for centuries, and the quiet is real: no crowds, no noise beyond the sound of water and grass.

After the ride, the day shifts to hiking. A light walk leads to Rinka waterfall, where the valley's water collects and falls. You'll have time to stand there, to photograph, to sit in the grass if you want. The guide is with you throughout, speaking English, Spanish, Italian, French or German depending on which language you choose at booking. Lunch is on your own. There's a window of free time to eat and rest before the drive back to Bled, which takes another 90 minutes.
