The experience

The transfer runs 45 minutes to just over an hour depending on your exact destination on the west coast. Your driver meets you at Roland Garros Airport and takes you straight to your accommodation: no waiting for a shared shuttle or negotiating with a taxi rank. The vehicle is private, so you travel with your group alone and set the pace for stops or questions along the way.

What sets this apart is the driver's role as a local guide. Rather than silent transport, you get personalized welcome and practical advice to start your stay well: tips on where to eat, how to navigate the island, what to see nearby. The driver speaks English or French, so language is not a barrier. Luggage, strollers and infant seats all fit. Families with small children can bring car seats or travel with a pram without rearranging anything.

Choose your vehicle size at checkout: a sedan seats four comfortably with bags, a minivan holds six, and a minibus accommodates eight passengers. The price is per vehicle, not per person, so a family or small group books one and travels together. Hotel pickup is included, meaning the driver collects you from your accommodation when you're ready to leave the island.

Is this one for you?Book a sedan or minivan if your group is small and you want to travel alone without waiting for other passengers. Choose the minibus if you're a larger party and want everyone in one vehicle. The fixed route to the west coast means this works only if your hotel is in Saint-Gilles-les-Bains, La Saline, L'Hermitage or Saint-Paul. Check your accommodation location before booking.
