You start with pickup from your hotel or airport, then head straight into Souq Waqif—the market where locals actually shop, not just tourists. The guide walks you through sections most visitors miss: the falcon shops and hospital, the horse stud, the textile stalls, and the spice vendors whose goods fill the narrow alleys. The Art Center sits inside the souq itself, a place where you watch painters and craftspeople at work, mostly young women making traditional Qatari pieces. This is not a rushed loop; the guide knows which corners matter and why.
After the market comes the meal—a traditional Arabic set at a handpicked restaurant, the kind of place where the food tastes like it belongs to the place. Water and tea are provided throughout. Then the tour moves to Msheireb Downtown, the restored heritage district where old Qatari architecture sits alongside modern design.
