The Experience

You're standing at Vilamoura Marina fifteen minutes before departure, the boat already there, crew moving around the deck. The yacht leaves at the time on your ticket — no waiting around, no uncertainty about when things start. The first thing you notice once you're aboard and moving is how close the boat gets to shore. Falésia Beach rises up in front of you, and the clay formations that look flat from the sand suddenly have depth and shadow when you're viewing them from the water.
