The experience

You meet at the shop at the entrance to São Rafael Beach, next to the main car park, where you'll leave your belongings in a secure place before the water. The guide gives a short safety briefing and walks you through the basics of stand-up paddleboarding. If it's your first time, they'll make it easy and straightforward. Then you paddle out along the stunning coastline, gliding past impressive cliffs and exploring beautiful sea caves as the guide shares local stories and keeps everyone comfortable and safe.

The tour usually stops at a secluded beach that's only reachable by water. You'll have time to relax, explore the surroundings, and snorkel in the clear bay (weather and sea conditions permitting). The snorkel mask is provided, along with a dry-bag for your belongings and a lifevest. After the stop, you paddle back to São Rafael Beach, finishing where you started.

The group stays under eight people, which means the guide can personalize the experience and watch over everyone closely. Your guide speaks English or Portuguese, so you'll follow the commentary comfortably in whichever language suits you.
