The experience

The Catamaran MARA leaves Albufeira Marina and heads west along the coast, with the captain pointing out the rock formations, caves and landmarks as you pass them. Do I need to be a strong swimmer to go in the water?

The swim stop is in open ocean, so you should be comfortable in the water and able to get back to the boat if you need to. The crew watches the swimmers, but this is not a supervised beach. You're responsible for your own safety in the sea.
