The experience
The boat departs from Rejsowisko jetty on Barka Wir, a floating venue with three restaurants and two bars where you can grab food or drinks before boarding (arrive 15 minutes early on weekdays, 30 minutes on weekends). Once on the water, you control the direction: head upriver past the Łazienkowski and Siekierkowski bridges through lush, wild riverbanks that feel far from the city, or go downriver to see the National Stadium, Poniatowski Bridge, and the Monument to the Glory of Sappers. The onboard Bluetooth system with amplifier and subwoofer turns the boat into a floating party space if that's what you want, or you can dial it down for a quieter cruise.
Downriver, you'll pass under the Świętokrzyski Bridge and sail by the Copernicus Science Centre and Museum of Modern Art, both striking from water level. The route ends with views of the Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge, then the Royal Castle rising above the Old Town's narrow streets and colorful townhouses: the perspective from the boat shows the castle and Old Town as a single architectural story. The Vistula Boulevards line the banks with green spaces, cafes, and people, framing the whole experience between nature and urban life.
Life jackets in your size are provided. You can bring your own finger food, snacks, drinks, and alcohol without paying extra fees. The boat suits all fitness levels, though anyone with mobility challenges may need help boarding or leaving the deck. The crew is ready to assist. Service animals are welcome.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
Can I choose which direction to cruise on the Vistula?
Yes. You pick either upriver toward the quieter, tree-lined banks between the Łazienkowski and Siekierkowski bridges, or downriver past the Old Town, Royal Castle, and major city landmarks like the National Stadium and Copernicus Science Centre.
What is the Warsaw Mermaid I might see from the boat?
The Warsaw Mermaid is the city's coat of arms symbol: a militant mermaid holding a sword and shield. It appears in the Old Town and represents courage, strength, and protection in Warsaw's history and culture.
Can I bring my own food and drinks on the boat?
Yes. You can bring finger food, snacks, drinks, and alcohol without paying any additional consumption fees. The Barka Wir jetty also has three restaurants and two bars if you want to purchase items before or after your cruise.
What happens if I arrive late to the jetty?
Arrive at least 15 minutes early on weekdays and 30 minutes early on weekends and days before holidays to ensure a smooth start. Time spent at Barka Wir before the cruise is not counted toward your two-hour tour duration.
Which bridges will I pass under on the downriver route?
The downriver route takes you under the Poniatowski Bridge, Świętokrzyski Bridge, and Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge. At low water levels, you may also moor near Poniatówka Island.
