Glide the dark roads lit up under the stars, helmet lights and board glow marking your path

A night electric skateboard ride on Siargao's coastal roads with a local guide, no prior skating experience required. You control acceleration and braking with a handheld remote, ride on well-lit roads for safety, and groups cap at four riders per guide so you get real attention. Your guide films the whole ride and sends every clip and photo to your WhatsApp before you head home.

The experience

You meet your guide at the eMotion Siargao shop, two minutes from Cloud 9, and spend about ten minutes on a safety briefing and training in a quiet spot before the ride starts. The electric skateboard works nothing like a regular one: no pushing, no tricks, just a small remote for acceleration and braking. Your guide is a Siargao local who teaches this for a living and keeps things easygoing even for complete beginners. Once you pick your board's glow color, you're ready to ride.

The route stays on well-lit roads the whole way, so safety is built in from the start. You'll pass coconut groves and sleepy villages, then cross Sunset Bridge (also called Catangnan Bridge) with nothing but your lights and the dark road ahead. Halfway through the ride you make a break, then head back along the same low-traffic roads. On the second half, when you're riding smoothly, your guide takes videos and photos of you in motion, capturing the moment under the night sky.

Every clip and photo lands in your WhatsApp before you even leave the shop, so you walk away with the footage ready to share. The whole experience runs about 75 minutes and covers 10 to 15 kilometers, leaving the rest of your afternoon or evening free.
