Your guide, a Siargao local, keeps groups to 4 riders maximum and films you throughout, sending every photo and video to your WhatsApp before you leave the shop. Closed-toe shoes are essential but not provided.

The experience

Two hours starts with a safety briefing and training session at the eMotion Siargao shop, a two-minute walk from Cloud 9. The board is nothing like a traditional skateboard: no pushing, no tricks, just a handheld remote for acceleration and braking. Over 1,000 riders have gone through this, including people who've never ridden a bicycle, and every one of them reached the point where they felt confident on the board. Most get there in about 10 minutes.

The ride itself follows quiet coastal roads past coconut groves and small villages, with your guide setting a pace that matches your comfort level. Halfway through there's a beach stop. The whole route covers 10 to 15 kilometers, and the timing is built around crossing Sunset Bridge, also called Catangnan Bridge, right at golden hour, when the light is at its best for photos. Your guide knows the roads, the timing and the spots worth stopping for.

On the second half of the ride, when you're riding smoothly, your instructor captures video and photos of you in action. Every clip and photo lands in your WhatsApp before you even leave the shop, so you have the content ready to share. Groups stay capped at 4 riders per guide, so nobody gets left behind and everyone gets real attention.
