The experience

The Kartarpur Corridor is a religious crossing unlike any other: it connects Gurdwara Darbar Sahib near Lahore on the Pakistan side to Gurudwara Dera Baba Nanak in India's Gurdaspur district, and Indian worshippers can cross without a visa. You travel by private air-conditioned vehicle from Lahore with a guide who speaks English, and the route takes you through the border checkpoint to the gurdwara itself, built on the right bank of the Ravi River where Guru Nanak established the first Sikh commune.

The full day runs eight hours and includes lunch along the way. WiFi is available on board, and the vehicle is wheelchair accessible. All areas of the gurdwara are also accessible, so families with prams or strollers, infants, and travelers with mobility needs can participate. Children from age one travel free on an adult's lap, or specialized infant seats are available if you need one.
