You spend 30 minutes exploring the structures and learning how people lived on the water in that era, though the museum closes on Mondays, so on those days the boat passes by without stopping. The boat is air-conditioned and carries only a small group, so the ride stays comfortable and unhurried.

The second stop is St. Naum Monastery, a 10th-century church founded by St. Naum, who is said to have used it as the area's first hospital. You have roughly three hours to spend here however you choose: walk through the church and see the original grave of St. Naum, rent a small rowing boat to tour the Crn Drim springs (crystal-clear water flowing from under Mount Galichica), eat lunch at one of the restaurants, or swim and sunbathe on the beach.
