There's a large car-free space to practice before the group sets off.

From the waterfront shop, you'll ride past the inter-island ferries and local boats, then head to your first stops: a Māori cultural site with nearly a thousand years of history, the iconic Wellington wind sculpture (85 feet tall, swaying with the city's famous gusts), and the Te Papa Museum on the waterfront. You'll ride along the beach on a cycle path, then put the bikes on turbo mode to climb Miramar Peninsula for the best views over Wellington and the surrounding bays. Your guide will share a Māori tale about how Wellington Harbour formed while you take photos. Much of the ride follows the coast with Mount Victoria forming the backdrop.

At the end, you can stay and explore Wellington further, or your guide will ride back with you to the ship.
