The experience

You'll spend 90 minutes in a monumental building from 1875 working with genuine leather. The workshop starts with coffee or tea and a walkthrough of the tools and process. Then you choose your own leather pieces from a wide range of colors and thicknesses: the operator also stocks vegan leather if you prefer. From there, the instructor guides you step by step through the making process, staying close to help when you need it and making sure the craftsmanship holds up.

What sets this apart is that you leave with a finished piece. Once you've completed the basic construction, you can personalize it with different engraving options before you go. Every piece ends up different because you picked the leather and shaped it to what you wanted, not what a template said you should make.
