The experience

How do you get to know a city without a guide talking at you the whole time? This self-guided tour hands you a smartphone app and a set of riddles tied to real locations across Eindhoven. You navigate using GPS, answer questions about what you find, complete small assignments at each stop, and rack up points with your group. The app works on Android or iPhone, and you start whenever you want: morning, afternoon, whenever you show up at the first location. There's no schedule to catch, no group to keep pace with.

The whole route takes around two hours if you move straight through, but the app lets you pause, come back later, or spend an afternoon on it. You're playing a game, not following a tour script, so the rhythm is yours. The riddles and assignments pull you toward the nicest squares, streets and monuments in the city, and you pick up facts about Eindhoven along the way. It's available in English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and more, so language isn't a barrier.

Groups of two to six people book as one team and share one app. After you complete the booking, you'll get an email with instructions on how to log in and start playing. All you need is your phone and a data connection. The rest is just walking and solving.
