The experience

The tasting room sits tucked behind a wine shop in the center of Amsterdam: a quiet speakeasy escape from the street outside. A sommelier meets you there and builds the tasting around what you already know and what you want to discover, whether you're new to wine or you've tasted for years. You'll work through 5 wines chosen from Dutch winemakers whose work is gaining recognition, each one poured and explained as you go.

Fresh bread from Gebroeders Niemeijer, a local Amsterdam baker, arrives with the first pour. Water and a tasting form help you track what you're noticing: the sommelier walks you through how to taste, what to look for, and why these particular wines matter. If you want more, you can order additional bites on site, or upgrade to the Royale option, which brings a charcuterie platter of local products to the table.
