The experience

The tour opens with arrival at your lodge and an evening walk through the surrounding community forest and village before sunset. From there, the next two days are built around full-day jeep safaris covering different zones of Bardia National Park, each one designed to maximize sightings of Royal Bengal tigers and other wildlife. You'll have breakfast at the lodge, then head out with a packed lunch, returning before dark. The third full day shifts to foot: a walking safari takes you deeper into tiger territory on the ground, with another packed lunch in the wilderness and a return to the lodge for dinner.

The evenings include a Tharu culture dance performance by local performers, a window into the traditions of the people who live near the park. Your naturalist guide (fluent in English or French) travels with you throughout, handling navigation and wildlife interpretation across all activities. A professional chef prepares all meals at the lodge. On the final morning, after breakfast, you depart.
