The experience

Your driver picks you up at your hotel in central Marrakech and drives 25 minutes to the starting point. After a 10-minute safety briefing on how to operate the quad, you spend two hours riding through the palm grove, crossing into the stone desert and the valley, with views of the High Atlas rising in the distance. The route takes you past typical Berber villages where paths stay off the main tourist track, and your guide (who knows the region) stops to show you places most visitors miss.

Partway through, you dismount for a 20-minute camel ride and a tea break. You'll sit in a local home with panoramic views across the Marrakech region, drinking Moroccan tea with bread and honey. Then you're back on the quad for the second half of the ride, finishing the loop through the Jbilets desert before your driver takes you back to your hotel.

Helmets, masks and protective clothing are provided. The guide speaks English or French depending on your preference, and children from age 3 can join, though the operator notes the ride is not suitable for anyone with spinal injuries or cardiovascular concerns.
